Comicbook is reporting today that a new Fortnite skin based on Vi from Netflix’s League of Legends TV series, Arcane, will be available for purchase later today. This marks the second character to be featured in the popular battle royale with Jinx, Vi’s sister, being first made available in conjunction with the release of the premiere episode of Arcane back in November of 2021.
Double Trouble
The new Fortnite skin will be made available for purchase in the Item Shop today at 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT. You can either buy just the skin or, if you’re feeling adventurous, the Vi skin will also be part of a much larger bundled Arcane set that includes the new skin, a toy bunny rabbit piece of Back Bling, the Piltover Warden Hammer Pickaxe, a new emote to show off her feisty self and even an exclusive loading screen featuring the sisters, Jinx and Vi.
And for those looking to complete the sister set, they will also have the opportunity to once again purchase the Jinx skin for the first time since November of last year. Just like her older sister’s new Fortnite skin, you can either buy only the Jinx skin, or you can buy it as part of a different Arcane-based bundle with this bundle featuring the Dream Monkey Back Bling, the Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe, and the lobby music Playground. Both bundles will yield a new loading screen featuring the sisters.
The show itself has been a hit for Netflix, with both Netflix and Riot Games greenlighting a 2nd season which is set to premiere sometime after 2022. There are no concrete details on what the plan will be going forward yet. Who knows which other characters from the show will have new Fortnite skins? Only time will tell.
