Players are in for an adorable treat with developer FlyAway’s new game, Triple Take. The Scandinavian indie team has officially launched its title with the help of Bonus Stage Publishing. Thanks to its release, we can actually take advantage of a discount for Steam users until October 13. Keep reading onward to find out more about this “horror” platformer and its aspects.
A Third Time’s the Charm in Triple Take by FlyAway
Triple Take invites the player to experience a new kind of 2D platforming with meta-features and challenging levels. The game is centered around you and your computer, which has come under fire from a strange entity. For us to proceed with the digital terror, we must complete each level three times. Indeed, this is where the title is derived from; each time you complete a stage, it’ll get progressively harder until you advance.
This new title includes a distinctive color scheme for the individual levels. There’s a particular single palette, each distinguished by different paths and obstacles. It stands out as you attempt to simply go from A to B. But of course, speed, precision, and a careful sense of platforming all play essential factors for Triple Take. You can check out the rapid-fire jumping and slide right here with the Triple Take official trailer.
Additionally, the game is backed by an original soundtrack by UK composer Tobias Roberts. He’s worked on several previous game projects, and they’re currently working on a non-gaming-related album. You can visit their SoundCloud to see what they’ve been recently posting.
Triple Take is available now for PC via Steam players for $6.99. As aforementioned, the discount is live until October 13 with a 20% slash, bringing the price to $5.59. If Triple Take caught your attention, you might want to grab your copy before the Steam launch discount ultimately disappears.
After watching the Triple Take trailer, what other platformers came to mind? We immediately thought of Super Meat Boy just because of how quick the gameplay can get, especially if you’re into speedrunning. Let us know!
