While there have been no official announcements from Sony or Killzone developer Guerilla Games, numerous tweets and job opening advertisements suggest that there may be a new Killzone game in development. The last game, Shadow Fall, launched with the Playstation 4 in 2013 and has an overall Metacritic score of 73.

Some of the job openings include an animation system’s programmer, a mission’s producer, character tech artist, and character support artist. Judging by these postings and more, it would seem that Guerilla Games is indeed working on something big.

But this morning, speculation escalated when the Killzone twitter account tweeted concept art which depicts a Helghast radio tower covered in ice. When asked about the image, whether it was DLC or an epic concept, Killzone replied, “an epic concept we wanted to share!”

In the end, this just may be the developer having fun, or possibly new DLC for Shadow Fall, but with the plethora of job postings recently, it’s hard to not get excited by the prospect of a new Killzone game!

What do you think? A new game? Or new DLC? Let us know in the comments!
