A new Nash Bridges movie will be released later this year. According to Comicbook, the movie will air on the USA Network on Saturday, November 27, and will serve as a revival/reboot to usher in a series revival, but all that hangs on how well Nash Bridges does. Don Johnson and Cheech Marin will be back as San Francisco Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit Inspectors Nash Bridges and Jose Dominguez. Jeff Perry, who played Inspector Harvey Leek, will also be reprising his role.
The new Nash Bridges movie is being directed by Greg Beeman, who has directed a couple of Disney movies; Under Wraps (1997) and Brink! (1998) and has recently directed a couple of episodes for television shows like Batwoman, Lucifer, and Swamp Thing. The writing aspect was taken care of by Bill Chais, who has also done some writing for Bluff City Law and Designated Survivor.
Along with Don Johnson and Cheech Marin returning, the show will also feature newcomers Joe Dinicol, Alexia Garcia, Paul James, Diarra Kilpatrick, Angela Ko, and Bonnie Sommerville, in hopes that these new names can continue on with the show as a series, once again, assuming that the movie does well.
