Today, Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic announced the release date for SpellForce III Reforced for consoles. Needing more time for developing the game had been pushed back from its original December 7th release date. SpellForce III Reforced will be coming to Xbox One and Series S|X along with Playstation 4 and 5 with a release date of June 7th.
Bringing the SpellForce universe to consoles
SpellForce III was initially released on the PC back in 2017. Console players can now travel to the world of Eo and take on the quest to save their world. Step in the shoes of the son of Isamo Tahar as Eo rebounds from the Mage Wars and investigates the mysteries within.
The SpellForce III Reforced console release will also feature two separate expansions, “Soul Harvest” and “Fallen God.” Both additions feature a single-player campaign with an additional 30+ hours of gameplay and new units, and more. Players can also purchase the entire game plus two expansions in the SpellForce III Reforced Complete Edition.
Experience a mix of RTS and RPG with a custom-created character. Play through a single-player campaign as you build massive armies to fight in massive epic battles. Next, assemble a party and choose your side in one of three factions. Lastly, players can experience the epic quest together with friends in the online co-op mode or face-off against one another in online battles.
Players can pre-order SpellForce III Reforced before it releases in June for $39.99, with the Complete Edition available for $59.99. For players who want to check out SpellForce III Reforced before it arrives on consoles, it’s also available on Steam at a discounted price of $9.99. So grab it before it returns to its original release price of $39.99 tomorrow.
