Splatoon 3 Splatfest: Team Nessie, Team Aliens, or Team Bigfoot?
The next upcoming Splatfest in Splatoon 3 will focus on a cryptid and conspiracy theme, with each of the three teams centered around a particular urban legend or scientific debate. These include Nessie – or the legendary Loch Ness monster – aliens, and Bigfoot or Sasquatch.
Players can choose among one of the three teams and vote for their favorites once the Spaltfest begins. The results are expected to be officially realized at least two hours the event ends.
The previous Splatfest in Spaltoon 3 ran from 4 PM PT on February 10, 2023 till the same time on February 12, 2023. It had a chocolate theme with the teams Team Dark Chocolate, Team White Milk Chocolate, and Team White Chocolate. Team White Chocolate ultimately won the event.
The new Splatoon 3 Splatfest will be the sixth one overall.
The new Fresh Season has also recently started in Splatoon 3. It includes a variety of new weapons, gear, and items for players to use in Turf War, as well as updates to Big Run.
In addtion, the first wave of the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass DLC has also come out. Released on February 28, 2023, and allows players to return to the iconic Inkopolis location from the first Splatoon game in 2015. There, they can get a variety of useful new gear and items as well, and during all future Spaltfest, the Squid Sisters Callie and Marie will host a special performance of their own.
The second wave of the Spaltoon 3 Expansion Pass DLC, known as Side Order, is expected to drop sometime later this year.
