Splatoon 3 Chocolate Splatfest: Dark, Milk, or White?
The new Splatoon 3 chocolate-themed Splatfest will be the fifth Splatfest event in Splatoon 3 so far, following up from the previous one in January, Spicy vs Sweet vs Sour. The results of the previous Splatfest have been published, showing that Sweet won out.
This new Splatoon 3 Splatfest will focus on a similar theme and focus on three types of chocolate: Dark vs Milk vs White. This is also the second taste/food-themed Spaltfest in a row, distinct from the November Splatfest, which was a collaboration with Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.
As with the other four Splatfests, players will be asked to choose a team in order to participate in the limited-time event with other players. They will then participate in the battle to earn the most territory and the results will be shared two hours after the event ends.
Among these battles will be the Tricolor Turf War battles, which have recently been changed. Originally, the team that was in the first place by halftime would act as the defender and be surrounded by both teams on either side of the map. They would have to attempt to take control of the map while stopping other teams from claiming the Ultra Signals.
Now, there is a 50% chance players will be either the defending or attacking team once a Tricolor Turf War begins, regardless of the current results of the competition.
The Splatoon 3 chocolate Splatfest, Dark vs Milk vs White, will officially begin on February 10, 2023, at 4 pm PT and end on February 12, 2023, at the same time in North America.
