In New World, Captain Patricia is the boss enemy that you have to beat to finish the “Shadows Cast By A Final Salute” quest chain given by the Watcher James Sexton NPC in Great Cleave. It is recommended for you to reach at least level 39 first before attempting to face off against the corrupted Soulwarden. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t have too much difficulty beating the captain and her Frontwatch mobs once you’ve reached level 42 or higher.

Captain Patricia’s Location in New World
Captain Patricia is located in the Cleave’s Malice area, in the Great Cleave region. You can reach Cleave’s Malice by going to the southern part of the Frozen Claims, going straight to the north from Brightwood Town, or to the southwest from Eastburn. Usually, you can easily spot Captain Patricia patrolling on top of a wooden gate protecting a bandit settlement between the two largest yellow buildings in the area.
How To Defeat Captain Patricia
Considering she’s a boss-type enemy, Captain Patricia is tougher than most enemies around level 42, having a beefy 6,440 HP and armed with a musket, making a head-on charge quite dangerous since she can snipe you from a distance. Nevertheless, if you target her weaknesses she shouldn’t be much of a trouble. To easily beat her in combat, make sure you attack with Arcane damage since she takes 30% more damage from the element. Avoid using Ice element attacks because she has huge Ice element resistance. Read on below for a little bit more detail regarding the boss’s status and drops.
