Behaviour Interactive has had all kinds of crossovers with its popular asymmetrical horror game, but this time we are getting something different. Dead by Daylight announced on social media that Nicolas Cage will be featured in the game in an unknown role (seen below). We got a little teaser, but it is not confirmed whether he will be a survivor or a killer. Either way, we welcome him into the dark depths of the Entity.
“There is nothing more powerful than imagination,” we hear Nicolas Cage say in the Dead by Daylight teaser. “We can shape the fabric of reality. Transforming everything you may think you know.” He says this while we get glimpses of a trashed movie set, and then the actor steps into the spotlight. More information will be delivered on July 5, in which we will learn if he will survive with us or attempt to kill us.

It is not the first time a notable actor has starred in the game. Bruce Campbell reprised his role as Ash from the Evil Dead franchise as a survivor. This time around, the Renfield actor will play himself, similarly to his role in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
The full reveal of Nicolas Cage in Dead by Daylight will have plenty of information for the game’s players. Not only will should we expect to learn about his side of survivor or killer, but his perks, too, to see what playstyle he will fit.
Over the years, Dead by Daylight has gone beyond Hollywood actors like Nicolas Cage. It has brought crossovers with killers and survivors from movie franchises like Scream, Saw, Nightmare on Elm Street, Stranger Things, and more. The last crossover was its second collaboration with Resident Evil. That last time brought in Wesker as a killer and Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers as survivors. The first time around brought Nemesis as the killer, with Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy as survivors.
