Former Big Brother houseguest Nicole Layog completed her stint on the show following her eviction on Thursday, August 4. The eviction came as a shock to the reality star, who until then felt confident she had the support of other houseguests to keep her on the show.
To her surprise, the majority of the houseguests, championed by The Leftovers alliance, voted her out. The eviction followed her scandalous episode with Taylor Hale, which led to the blowup between the 27-year-old and Daniel Durston. Before that, the chef spent her time on the show trash-talking Taylor, ultimately subjecting her to isolation and bullying.
Nicole Layog Addresses Taylor’s Isolation
Speaking to Us Weekly in an interview in the wake of her Big Brother 24 exit, Nicole Layog revealed she was rooting for the Leftovers despite their part in her eviction. According to her, knowing the motivation behind the alliance made her realize how big a message they had compared to the other groups in the house. She shared:
“You know, bullying is a huge thing. And isolation and making people feel as though they’re not accepted in a group setting like Big Brother is pretty huge.”
The former houseguest went on to address the lessons she learned in the house, which she considered very humbling. On her experience with Taylor, the star noted that she hoped to talk about it openly with the housemate and grow from there.
Nicole Doesn’t Recall Her Ill-Treatment of Taylor
The Big Brother 24 alum also reflected on the harsh, mostly-defamatory terms she hauled at Taylor Hale while in the house. Nicole Layog claimed she already addressed those things with Taylor and apologized to her. Despite her admissions, Nicole maintains she had a vague recollection of the specific instances and would need to rewatch them. She divulged:
“As far as the detail of what I’ve said, I need to go back and I want to rewatch all of these things, because I wanna see and I wanna hear and really be able to reflect on the things that I’ve said.”
Going further, the reality star insisted she could only address details of her treatment of Taylor after replaying those moments. Notwithstanding, she admitted she “messed up” by saying some inappropriate things to her co-houseguest.
Since the show kicked off on July 6, the former cop made no secret of her dislike of Taylor. Much like Nicole Layog, other Big Brother housemates subjected the model to bullying, causing her to feel isolated. However, the tables turned last week when some houseguests decided to form an alliance called The Leftovers, aimed at blindsiding the prominent members of the house. With the drama surrounding Nicole’s unexpected eviction, it appears Taylor finally got her big revenge.
