After almost five months of inactivity, the official NieR Reincarnation English Twitter recently posted an update. A sigh of relief and a wave of excitement envelops NieR Reincarnation fans as the director himself, Daichi Matsukawa, released an official statement. The tweet included the NieR English mobile update that everybody in the west is waiting for.
The Nier Reincarnation English’s update is underway. Director Matsukawa apologized for the lack of updates, but the Nier mobile game is in the works. He then shares the English version’s current development status coming to North America and European countries.
“We are currently in the process of localizing the English version and recording all character voices in English. We also plan to fix bugs following the game’s Japanese release so we can launch the English version in tip-top shape.” – NieR Reincarnation Director, Daichi Matsukawa
The game’s director added that they would immediately release another announcement after a confirmed pre-registration date and launch date.
Currently, NieR Reincarnation is going live in Japan on February 18, 2021. Nier mobile game is inviting one of its popular titles in the series, NieR Automata, to celebrate the occasion. Players can get to play with 2B, 9s, and A2 as they grace the world of NieR Reincarnation as party members. It is not yet known if NieR Reincarnation English will also have the same celebration.
Square Enix and the NieR Reincarnation team went live on February 2, 2021, on Youtube to discuss its development. They also released a brand new trailer for the game that showcases its combat and exploration. The short video gives the players a sneak peek at several new environments, how they can explore each location and a better look at the combat demonstration with a combo counter.
