Nintendo has often been synonymized with simulated sports games. Ever since the NES era, Nintendo has tried to capitalize on bringing that feeling to a controller. The appeal was obvious after making the jump to motion control with the Wii era in the late 2000s. Utilizing fluid motion with a Wiimote to hit a ball or swing a golf club showcased plenty of potential. Capitalizing on that with installments like Wii Sports Resort, the franchise was at the height of its popularity. Yet this interest would dwindle over time as newer developments in gaming occurred. Yet, just a week ago, Nintendo announced the latest iteration in their sports series. Nintendo Switch Sports features AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution to aid in its graphical showcase.
