No Man’s Sky, the cooperative space exploration and building game, will release on the Nintendo Switch. Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, No Man’s Sky has been revealed to release this year in the summer. Nintendo Switch players can now join the thousands of other players who work to unlock the mysteries in the Hello Game release.

Players can now take to the stars chasing the anomaly along with the answers that follow on this space-faring quest. The Hello Games release had a rocky start when it had initially launched on the PlayStation 4 and PC in 2016. However, they have made massive strides to improve and add to their game since then before No Man’s Sky arrives on the Nintendo Switch.
No Man’s Sky Frontiers is the current update to the game and one of the most significant updates. Adding new planetary settlements which can interact with and even elected to the overseer of these settlements. More buildings to build when players decided on a planet to settle for themselves, adding hundreds of new base parts. Lastly, the seasonal event Expedition 3: Cartographers has the Travelers exploring and mapping space as a community.

No Man’s Sky also now has the space anomaly, where travelers can find a shared port with each other. Trading, viewing one another ships, meeting the residents, and buying more blueprints to build. Even more, players can explore space cooperatively with two to four players. Travelers can find frigates, unique crafts, and even ground vehicles as you explore the vast reaches of space, unlocking mysteries and meeting others this summer when No Man’s Sky comes to the switch.
As of right now, there is no announced significant update to No Man’s Sky currently. Looking back at what the development teams have done so far. This Hello Games universe still has a lot of room left to grow as more players return to the space exploration game.
