Nomada Studio, the makers of Gris, is releasing an artbook containing page after page of the game’s stunning scenery. It’s already a pleasure to behold on the screen, so being able to flip through a book to see more art is a treasure worth the wait. Ahead of the impressive collection’s release date, the indie team gave fans a look at what they can expect to find.
The artbook will feature 176 pages of unused prints, never before seen art, and the storyboard of the game. All of the work you’ll find in the pages is done by Gris‘ main artist Conrad Roset and the members of his creative team, Ariadna Cervello, Alba Filella, and Adrain Miguel.
Roset has also been busy designing individual watercolor portraits for those who have ordered the signature edition of the artbook. You can follow his process on social media.

The artbook by itself comes in an uncoated 80-pound vellum paper with a black linen 120 point cover with foil stamping. It’s a hefty tome that shows off the hard work and dedication of the passionate team behind the game.
The pictures Nomada Studio posted on social media show a few new outfits for the protagonist as well as a removed tower or puzzle players could solve in the game.

For those who ordered the signature edition, it includes the sheet music to the Gris Piano Theme by Berlinist. One of the most beautiful and stunning songs ever to be heard in a video game.
The artbook is available for pre-order through the website Special Reserve Games, however, they are only available through July 17th.
How long will the pre order last you ask? Until July 17th! So you have that long to grab a copy of the game, the book or a bundle.

Those who order the artbook can expect it to ship out to them in September.
Gris tells the story about a young girl on an emotional journey through a dangerous world. The game uses emotion through color, music, and sound to guide her through the stages of depression. It’s available on PC, MAC, and Nintendo Switch.
