Tomorrow’s the day when we’ll be able to enjoy the next entry of the famous 2HD game, Octopath Traveler. A lot of people have been waiting for the sequel for some time now. As you may remember, the first game was a success due to its characters, classic JRPG combat, and art style. Now, the next entry promises more of the same with some small but noticeable additions. Some people want to sink some time into the game before that, they want to know how many hours it’ll last. Well, today we finally know what the story length of Octopath Traveler 2 will be.
Octopath Traveler 2 will have a story length of 60 hours
60 hours is how long it’ll take you to finish this upcoming game. While time may vary depending on each player, 60 is the number right now to finish only the main story. Those who want to complete the game in its entirety will be looking at 70 to 100 hours. This is great as the story length of Octopath Traveler 2 is already good and getting a 100% completion rate will take a bit more.

With 8 new characters, it is only normal that the game is quite lengthy. This is something that a lot of people like and at the same time, dislike. While the writing of the game is superb, some feel that some characters have higher stakes in their stories. This can be distracting as some prefer to take care of those with urgent matters instead of characters with down-to-earth goals. Still, the story length shows that Square Enix is really making an effort to make Octopath Traveler 2 better than the first one. While some people that have played the preview claim it is more of the same, others are loving it so far. In the end, everyone will give their own verdict, but so far, it seems we’re in for a treat when Octopath Traveler 2 releases on February 24, 2023.
