HBO Max has debuted the first official trailer and key art for Friends: The Reunion. “Friends” stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. The reunion sees the group return to the iconic comedy’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros for an unscripted real-life celebration of the beloved show.
Decades after it first aired, Friends still remains a beloved show among a large number of people. One of the highest-rated shows on television in its original network run, the series still remains a perennial go-to on streaming platforms where it continues to be a smash hit worldwide. The show follows a close-knit group of friends living in New York City and their relationship with each other portrayed in a heartfelt and comedic way. Friends was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, who executive produced the series with Kevin Bright through Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
The official trailer for the reunion shows the cast on the original set of the show. They can be seen exchanging stories and reading the script for the show. For the celebration of the show, HBO Max is set to launch the “Friends reuniting with Friends” event, inviting select guests and fans to a special screening to experience the reunion special with their friends. HBO Max is also holding a live-streamed digital and social red carpet on Wednesday, May 26 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm PST which will feature exclusive programming and guest-star appearances. Fans can also reunite with their friends virtually to watch the special on scener.com with the #CentralPerkWatchParties hashtag.
