Several things have been affecting Americans across the country lately, but one of the most notable is the rising cost of gas. While some people have remained quiet and just seen how the gas prices slowly go up daily, a few citizens have started going out on the streets to complain, but also to blame one important figure for these high costs. In this case, we’re referring to those in Akron, Ohio, who have started placing signs on bridges blaming none other than President Trump for the costly gasoline that continues to be a thorn in the side of many Americans.

The above picture belongs to user Valerusii in Reddit, who shared it on several subreddits and quickly became viral. The picture shows a bridge in Akron, Ohio, and you can see that there are a couple of people up there with a sign that reads “Thank Trump for high gas prices.”

While the increasingly high cost of gas isn’t new, what is new is that Trump continues to taunt and claim that the prices are likely to rise “a little big higher.” According to USA Today. As you know, Trump decided to block the Strait of Hormuz after wanting to “free” it, and now all these questionable decisions have led to more expensive gasoline for Americans.

Another key factor that affects gas prices is the way, and by the looks of it, it will continue, as there are no signs of it stopping, which has worried several Americans.

Ohio Citizens Blame Trump for Expensive Gas Prices

Since several people are worried about the cost of living and how war is taking a toll on everyone’s daily expenses, several joined in on the blame choir and pointed fingers at the President and those who supported him.

“MAGA will only care once it affects them. They have no sympathy for anyone but themselves, unfortunately.”

“Americans caring a lot more about gas prices than about the war says a lot about how we got here.”

In other comments, the discussion quickly morphed into a Republicans vs Democrats debate, and things got out of control, with several attacking MAGA members.

“Ironically, some of his Cult will definitely thank him for this.”

“And those who voted and support him are just as guilty.”

Regardless of who people side with, the truth is that these prices are affecting many, and the possibility that they could rise again only makes the situation even worse.
