Although a sports stadium might not sound like the place for a gun-wielding mercenary, Drek’Ar, the Intimidating Invader, is one of the playable Strikers of Omega Strikers. Similar to Luna, Drek’Ar’s kit revolves around using ranged attacks to strike the Core and deal damage to opponents. While Luna excels in long-ranged competition, Drek’Ar is fit for close-ranged combat. His core Primary Ability is Lock And Load, which fires a shotgun-like spread, dealing Heavy Hits to nearby foes. He also can turn temporarily invisible and launch a sticky bomb, dealing DoT and inflicting a slow debuff. Continue reading to learn which Trainings best fit Drek’Ar in Omega Strikers.
Best Trainings For Drek’Ar Build In Omega Strikers
Heavy Handed and Cast to Last are two must-have Trainings for Drek’Ar using a Forward Striker build in Omega Strikers. Heavy Handed enhances Lock And Load, granting more Heavy damage upon each hit, and Cast to Last increases the duration of the debuff inflicted by Molten Bolt, Drek’Ar’s Special Ability.

When playing as Drek’Ar, players should always be aggressive, pushing the Core towards the goal and building up enemy KO stagger using Lock And Load and Molten Bolt. Experienced opponents might keep their distance from Drek’Ar to avoid being blasted by his shotgun spread, but this behavior can be countered by activating Xeno Cloak. This ability allows users to approach enemies without detection for a follow-up Primary attack. As for Molten Bolt, this offers more range but is easier to land at close range. Therefore, the Trainings Heavy Handed or Cast to Last are much better than Missile Propulsion since Drek’Ar users should not be shooting from a distance in Omega Strikers.
The third Training for Drek’Ar’s Forward build in Omega Strikers should further buff his Lock And Load attack. YouTube content creator It’s Ignis suggests that Prime Time is the best choice, as it grants bonus damage and an extra Primary Ability charge at max level. This perk will undoubtedly be more suitable for matches that last moderately longer with experienced opponents. Alternatively, according to Pro Game Guides, newcomers might be better off using Rapid Fire. This Training provides Primary Ability cooldown reduction, letting Drek’Ar spam his Lock And Load more frequently. Nevertheless, both Trainings are excellent choices for a Drek’Ar build in Omega Strikers.
