“One Piece: Odyssey”: The Story Behind the Novel
Bandai Namco Entertainment’s One Piece Odyssey RPG game first launched on January 13th. It had been released following a delay from its original 2022 release date. The game’s story follows Luffy and the Straw Hats as they revisit and explore the world of their memories. The game’s full story is described as;
“During their voyage along the Grand Line, Captain Monkey.D.Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew are caught in a sudden storm at sea. When the storm subsides, they find themselves stranded on a lush but mysterious island called Waford, becoming separated from each other in the process. The crew sets out on a new, daring adventure filled with marvels of nature, powerful enemies, and strange encounters with island locals.”
Gameplay in the crew’s memories links quests and tasks players to resolve the fractured world of Hysteria.
Studio ILCA (Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl) was in charge of producing the fans. Eiichiro Oda (the original One Piece creator) developed and wrote the game’s original story, as well as designing the characters and monsters. Motoi Sakuraba (Tales Of, and Dark Souls) composed the One Piece Odyssey game’s original soundtrack.
One Piece Odyssey is available to play on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
