OS NYC just announced the launch of its fully equipped game lounge. The new facility will be opening by the end of this week in New York City.
OS NYC is being dubbed the home of gaming and esports. The new lounge will be located at 50 Bowery Street in Manhattan. Visitors will be treated to a wide array of modern and professional gaming equipment. Gaming enthusiasts and professionals alike will find everything they’re looking for.
OS NYC caters to gamers of all backgrounds, content creators, and streamers. The facility also has its own built-in restaurant for when hunger sets in after a long session. The new gaming mecca features comfortable gaming environments and allows gamers to just meet gamers.
“We are excited to help launch the next generation of gamers and streamers,” said Head of Strategy and Partnership, Dan Chiu. “By providing the latest products from HyperX, Republic of Gamers, Raynor, Elgato and Scuf, our players and streamers can use professional-level gear to become the next big name in esports or on Twitch. The name OS (Operating System) twas chosen as a means of empowering gamers to become their own operating system within the community. OS NYC distinguishes itself from other gaming cafes in a big way. Dark and cramped spaces are a thing of the past. The inviting facility has 18-foot high ceilings, spacious leather couches, and warm lighting.
OS NYC provides premium, professional esport grade equipment, and other gaming systems including:
- 60 x PCs featuring 8th gen i7, Nvidia GPU, 120-hertz refresh rate monitors
- 10 x PS4s featuring Scuff Controllers
- 5 x Xbox Ones featuring Scuff Controllers
- 10 x Nintendo Switch
- 1 x N64 (Equipped with popular favorite “GoldenEye”)

“Every gaming station has a camera and stream setup, allowing users to make glossy-looking live shows with a single click of a button,” said Higgins. “Individuals can move freely between gaming, content creation and esports competition. We have a fully functional broadcast studio in the back of the venue to allow for more advanced players or esports teams to create premium content, or live shows.”
OS NYC promises to keep membership and walk-in rates low and competitive. Gaming is $5 per hour for members, however, non-members only have to pay $6. Membership starts at $9.99 a month. Gamers can also purchase a yearly membership for $99.
