As far as the co-op genre goes, Overcooked is among some of the options that you can’t go without playing. Cooking various dishes with your friends while various shenanigans happen around you never ceases to be hilarious. I’ve admittedly dropped many hours into it myself, seeing as it’s a great party game. If you haven’t played it yet, I don’t know what you’re missing out on. With the release of Overcooked All You Can Eat next month, it’ll be the perfect time to get into the game. Both titles on next-gen consoles is something you can’t pass up. Not only is it coming to next-gen consoles though, but today Team17 and Ghost Town Games showcased new details on what to expect. You can watch the latest trailer on these changes below.
Overcooked All You Can Eat will introduce seven new kitchens to play in. These kitchens are rather spooky which, while after Halloween, should offer up something fresh to cook in. There’s new mechanics in these kitchens of course, a few of which you can see in the video. There’s also three new chefs, in the form of the Axolotl Chef, the Unbread Chef, and the Overlord, Everpeckish Chef. All of this content is exclusive to owners of the All You Can Eat edition.
These new features join the refreshed content that Overcooked All You Can Eat will offer. You can expect 4K resolution in a smooth 60 FPS, offering a refined and smooth experience for players. The first Overcooked title has also been brought into the Overcooked 2 engine, offering a refined experience that’s playable with friends online this time. This all combines to offer 200 varied and enjoyable levels, which is truly all you can eat.
