Blizzard also added in a publication on its website that Pride should fulfill the role of players in the game. Over the years, recognizing players in the game has given them the courage to be who they are. Blizzard is allowing everyone to play how they want. Players can select from various roles, distinct playstyles, and diverse heroes that best suit their individuality.
Every user who logs into Overwatch 2 starting on June 1 will receive a large selection of profile Player Icons and Name Cards. There will be many different identities that make up the fabric of this fantastic community. You can choose how you identify in the game using the name cards. You will see that some of the LGBTQ+ heroes have their special ones. You’ll find a lesbian card for Tracer, a gay card for Soldier: 76, a pansexual card for Lifeweaver, a bisexual card for Baptiste, and a lesbian card for Pharah.
According to Blizzard, the goal has been to build a brave new world where everyone is valued and celebrated. Conversely, players can identify with the heroes and recognize themselves in the universe. It’s lovely how Pride emphasizes the expression of players in the game. The game is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox Series X|S.
