Overwatch 2 Season 2 Details
Overwatch 2 New Season Release Date
Overwatch 2 roadmap announced that Season 2 would launch on Tuesday, December 6. All original content will instantly stop airing once the update is implemented, coinciding with the conclusion of Season 1.
So, players may anticipate Season 2 to end on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, since each season is anticipated to last nine weeks.
New Tank Hero: Ramattra
Omnic will be his base form, and Nemesis will give him new moves and bonus armor. While in his Omnic form, Ramattra can use the Void Accelerator to fire a stream of projectiles and create a barrier at a targeted location.
While in Nemesis form, he can Pummel, punching forward and creating waves of energy. He also blocks with his arms in this form, significantly reducing the damage he takes while reducing movement speed.
While we are still determining the exact location for Season 2, Ramattra’s gameplay trailer gave us a sneak preview of the new map’s appearance. It is situated in a snowy mountain monastery crammed to the gills with Omnic imagery, giving it a faint resemblance to Nepal. This map is already in Overwatch 2.
Season 2 Battle Pass
A new 80-tier Battle Pass featuring awards and cosmetics will be available for players to earn as they level up throughout the season.
As the last Battle Pass tier, the player can choose from among 30+ new skins for Heros, including a new, highly customizable Mythic Skin. Genji received the Mythic Skin for Season 1. There is much to unlock, including the Mythic Skin and Ramattra in Tier 55.
