Valentine’s Day is almost here, and Overwatch 2 is bringing a Dating Sim. It will feature two fan-favorite characters for players to romance.
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and that means that love and gaming are in the air. Lately, many games as a service have created events for big holidays. We’ve seen Dead by Daylight making events for the Lunar New Year and Christmas. Overwatch isn’t an exception when it comes to holiday events. And Overwatch is no exception, as the same happened with the event for the New Lunar Year and now for Valentine’s. This time, Blizzard is working on Overwatch 2 to bring a Dating Sim to the game. It will feature some fan-favorite characters that we’re sure will make a lot of players happy.
Overwatch 2 Dating Sim will feature Genji and Mercy
From February 13 to February 28, Overwatch 2 will bring a Dating Sim called Loverwatch. This dating sim will be only playable through our browsers as it won’t be available inside the game. Activision Blizzard emphasizes that is a non-canon history. But In this text-based game mode players can try to romance Mercy or Genji with Hanzo’s arrows. Also, if players manage to discover the secret ending on the Dating Sim, they’ll earn a Play of the Game highlight intro in Overwatch 2. The main event in-game will start on February 14 with a Support-themed challenge and a limited-time Hanzo event. Both game modes will reward players, and there might be a new skin.
What is Overwatch 2 New Control Map
This Dating Sim could either make or break the game right now. The past event set in Olympus wasn’t good at all. A lot of players were disappointed with the rewards and the overall feel of the event. It was so bad that gamers decided not to play it due to one hero being broken throughout the limited-time mode. So, we hope that this light-hearted Dating Sim of Overwatch 2 makes the game shine a bit more. Remember that you’ll be able to enjoy the event inside and outside of the game. So, if you haven’t, make sure to download Overwatch 2 on your favorite platform and prepare for Valentine’s Day.
