Paper Animal RPG Kickstarter Announced

A first look at a brand new game by publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Cuddling Raccoons Studio, titled Paper Animal RPG, during the Whoelsoem Direct 2022 showcase. A brand new RPG  inspired bt game like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Paper Mario, Paper Animal RPG, will be released fro for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam sometime this summer, and an official Kickstarter campaign for the game is currently active.

Paper Animal RPG Kickstarter and Trailer Details

Paper Animal RPG is a new Paper Mario-inspired RPG adventure by publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Cuddling Raccoons Studio. Paper Animal RPG will have rogue-lite elements and a unique battle system, and according to the Kickstarter campaign page, a free demo for the game will be released soon. The official story description for the game reads:

“Once upon a time, there was a small village, which was inhabited by many animals of all colors and sizes. The village was ruled by a kind king, who reigned with grace and maintained order among the animals. One day, the king suddenly disappeared!

A few days later, the village fell into despair and the once so cheerful days seemed gone forever. In the midst of chaos, a group of brave adventurers emerged, determined to find the whereabouts of the king!”

Each world and map in the game will be procedurally generated, including the available items, skills, and stickers players can find, as well as the events and NPCs they will encounter.

Players will face various enemies during their explorations, and the game offers a fresh approach to tile-based and real-time battles.  In between the different dungeon floors are camp floors spread, which are peaceful floors that offer a great opportunity to manage your team and inventory there.

Paper Animal RPG will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam later this summer, and the Kickstarter page will officially open soon.
