In 2020, Kaizen Game Works released their open-world murder mystery game, Paradise Killer, on PC and Nintendo Switch. Now, almost two years later, Paradise Killer has a second Nintendo Switch release. This time, however, it’s physical. Today, indie game publisher 1Print Games released Paradise Killer Limited Edition for Nintendo Switch. As the name suggests, this version of the game is limited, with only 3,000 copies available.
The game has been available digitally on PC and Nintendo Switch for a while. However, Kaizen Game Works is pleasantly surprised by Paradise Killer Limited Edition. They didn’t see it coming, as evidenced by this quote from today’s announcement:
““When we formed Kaizen we assumed we’d spend all our savings on a weird game for freaks then the dream would be over. Now here we are putting out our weird game for freaks (Paradise Killer) on a physical cartridge for an absolute all-timer of a console! We are amazed that this has happened,” says Oli Clarke Smith, creative director at Kaizen Game Works. “I have approximately 900 physical games in my collection and I am very excited to add Paradise Killer to that number! Thank you to everyone at 1Print Games for making this happen and to everyone that has played Paradise Killer. Your support has been amazing and we hope you enjoy the amazing edition of the game that 1Print Games has put together. May you reach the moon!””
Paradise Killer Limited Edition comes with unique bonuses
In addition to a physical copy of the game, Paradise Killer Limited Edition includes some special bonuses. This edition includes a sticker, a keychain, a numbered authenticity card, and Paradise Killer: A Guide for Investigation Freaks. According to 1Print Games’ Facebook page, the guide includes tips for the game, as well as “TONS of never-seen-before development screenshots.”
Paradise Killer Limited Edition for Nintendo Switch is available now on the 1Print Games website.
