Paramount+ dropped the first trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie at 2o22 San Diego Comic-Con. Deadline reports that the trailer was featured during the Hall H panel, featuring former series regulars Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin. The movie, announced last year, will feature the main characters, Scott McCall (Posey) and Derek Hale (Hoechlin), battling a new evil arising in Beacon hills. It will also feature the return of a series fan favorite. Allison (Crystal Reed) appears in the trailer, which reportedly resulted in everyone in Hall H cheers. The character, who was thought to be dead in season three, is making a surprise return.

‘Teen Wolf: The Movie’ Reunites Cast After Five Years
Teen Wolf premiered on MTV in 2011 and wrapped up after six seasons in 2017. Teen Wolf: The Movie has brought many cast members back together. Aside from Posey, Hoechlin, and Reed, other returning cast members will include Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, Shelley Hennig, Linden Ashby, Melissa Ponzio, and JR Bourne. Notably absent, however, is Dylan O’Brien, who portrayed Scott McCall’s best friend Stiles Stilinski in the series. O’Brien explained that the show ended in a good place for him, and he didn’t want to go back. However, he did say, “I wish them well, and I’m going to watch it the first night it comes out. I hope it fucking kicks ass.”
Comic-Con Features Trailer for ‘Teen Wolf: The Movie’ and a Surprise
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Teen Wolf panel at Comic-Con featured a surprise guest. Sarah Michelle Gellar, known for playing the title character in the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, appeared on stage to make a big announcement. She will play a lead role in the upcoming series Wolf Pack, which is a spin-off of Teen Wolf. Gellar recently started shooting the show in Atlanta alongside her fellow cast members.
Teen Wolf: The Movie has a planned release for October 2022.
