PC Building Simulator is one of those guilty pleasures of mine, feeling like a strange game to have a few dozen hours in but enjoying every second of it. There’s something peaceful about throwing on some tunes, hopping into the game, and running the career mode for a few hours, and it’s an experience I look to when I need a calming tone to contrast the fast-paced shooter lifestyle I’ve grown accustomed to. With that being said, I’m surprised to be announcing today that the teams at Spiral House and Epic Games Publishing are making a sequel to PC Building Simulator, set to debut later this year!
What’s New With the PC Building Simulator Sequel?
While the original PC Building Simulator is incredibly solid on its own, PC Building Simulator 2 is set to turn things up a notch with stronger graphics, higher detail, and a host of around 1200 PC parts to toy around with at launch. If the trailer is anything to go off of, the graphics here look to be far stronger than anything we’ve seen from the original game, with stronger shadows and details on the PC itself, rather than some of the playdoh textures currently on offer. To top everything off, the game is set to launch with a 30+ hour career mode fit with plenty of ways to upgrade your workshop and PC building experience. Oh, and you have plenty of the new PC building industry’s hottest trends like water cooling and RGB.
Seeing as it’s part of the Epic Games Publishing label, the sequel to PC Building Simulator, PC Building Simulator 2, is set to launch on the Epic Games Store later in 2022. If you want more information regarding the game, feel free to check out the official website. You can also wishlist the game by heading over to its store page.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go design an absolute disaster of a PC in the Free Build mode.
