In the brand new Persona 5 Strikers, you can perform a move called Showtime that works like a kind of ultimate move. Each Showtime move is unique to each character in your party and is unique to every Persona Joker has equipped. Not only is it stylish and flashy, but it can also be devastating if used in combination with other well-placed moves; the Showtime move is a welcome addition to Persona 5 Strikers.
How to Perform a Showtime Move
As you’re in a fight and you’re dealing damage, performing moves, and taking damage, you slowly fill a meter in the bottom left corner called the Showtime meter. Once this fills up, you can perform the Showtime move at any time by pressing either triangle and circle at the same time on PS4 or X and A at the same time on the Switch.
While each move is unique to each character and Persona, the move that’s actually used is more based on the main elemental attack each Persona has available to them. For Jack O Lantern, for example, you would have a fire-based Showtime move whereas, with Bicorn, you would have a wind-based Showcase move. Using these in tandem with other Persona-based moves and you can quickly turn the tide of battle if you use it to exploit enemy weaknesses.

This move isn’t always available and the meter doesn’t always fill up quickly so the Showtime move should be used sparingly and only if you’re in a situation where you can use it to its fullest potential, like in a battle against a stronger enemy or a boss character, in an effort to try and knock them down, as following up with an All-Out Attack and some more elemental exploits can really turn a difficult battle into an easy one fairly quickly.
