PETA is combating the animal testing at Elon Musk‘s Neuralink by urging Twitter users to call out the billionaire Tesla owner. A rep for the animal rights organization spoke to TMZ concerning the issue.
The rep disclosed that Neuralink and the University of California-Davis have hands in the death of at least 15 monkeys. It’s a result of Musk’s desire to stick a chip in a human’s brain.
According to PETA, other companies started this experiment about 20 years ago. However, the billionaire’s quest has caused animal corpses to pile up. The organization condemns this act and says experimenting on and killing animals is not a good scientific practice.
Many animals have died due to Elon Musk’s Neuralink animal testing, and PETA is urging Twitter users to call out the app owner. The animal rights organization believes that the monkeys died for reasons that have no connection with his studies. Hence the need to close down the lab.

Elon Musk’s Neuralink Animal Testing Violates Animal Rights and PETA wants the Lab Closed Down
PETA, asides from urging Twitter to call out Elon Musk for his animal testing at Neuralink, is inviting USDA’s inspector general into the matter. The animal rights organization wants the U.S. Agriculture Department to investigate the violation of animal protection laws.
Workers at the billionaire’s coy are concerned about the increasing number of animal tests that result in death. Per Reuters, 1,500 animals have been killed at Neuralink in the past four years in order to meet Musk’s alleged deadline.
Such acts can lead to the extinction of a particular animal and animal rights organization is only trying to curb the menace. PETA is now urging the whole of Twitter to call out Elon Musk for his animal testing at Neuralink.
The organization wants the app users to tag the billionaire and his Neuralink company, and circulate protest tweets all over the app. The company promised to curb paralysis by allowing patients to use their brains while the machinery would complete the task.
The next phase was to start human trials. But it’s yet to commence.
