Phasmophobia is an investigative horror game made by Kinetic Games. The game grew more popular as many Youtubers and Twitch streamers started playing it solo or with a group of friends. In Phasmophobia, the Deogen is a Ghost Type that can detect players, which makes hiding impossible. So here is the guide on how to escape the Deogen in Phasmophobia.
How to Escape the Deogen in Phasmophobia
The Deogen can sense where the players are and open lockers and closets, making it impossible to hide. So the only option left is to keep running, and running into a dead-end means death, obviously. But if you stare at the Deogen, it will slow down. This means the best way to beat the Deogen in the game is to learn the best loop locations and simply run in circles and stare at the Deogen.
Edgefield is one of the maps where players will encounter a Deogen. Try to avoid the small rooms and enclosed hallways, but on the ground floor, there are two spots where you can run around the Deogen with ease.
The first one is the living room, where you have to use the couch as an obstacle. Remember not to go too fast because The Ghost can change the direction that way. The second spot is the garage. You can bait the Deogen to chase you to one part of the garage. Then you can sprint out of the room into the living room.
Not only the Edgefield map but every map of Phasmophobia have at least one loop location you can use to escape the Deogen. In Tanglewood, the garage with the car is the loop place of that map, along with the kitchen or the dining room in Ridgeview Road House.

Basically, study the map and look for a place where you can run in a loop or circle. Stare at The Ghost in the meantime so that you will slow it down.
