Xbox Game Pass has been on fire for the past few weeks. We now know that Gears Tactics will be available Day 1 for Game Pass, among other titles. Along with that, critically acclaimed games like Metro: Last Light and Pathologic 2 are now playable through the service. Thankfully, at least on the PC side of things, Xbox isn’t done for the year. Just added to Game Pass for PC this morning, subscribers can now play Infinifactory and Phoenix Point! With both titles being excellent in their respective genres, you’ll want to check them out.
Infinifactory is a puzzle game developed and published by Zachtronics, best known for Infiniminer and SpaceChem. You’re a human, abducted by an alien race who now must develop new equipment for them. You must assemble many machines, deliver pieces of equipment efficiently, and find your way to escape and return home. The game is known for having a lot of creative freedom and offering many hours of content for just the main puzzles. Creative and logical thinkers alike won’t want to miss this title.
Phoenix Point, on the other hand, is a turn-based strategy game developed and published by Snapshot Games. It’s 2047, and Earth is under attack by an unknown alien race full of horrendous monsters. You’re lone base Phoenix Point and must think tactically to save yourselves and the human race from annihilation. After a few issues regarding Phoenix Point coming to Xbox Game Pass, it’s finally here and runs as good as the versions from other platforms. Filled with enough to make the game stand out from games like XCOM, this is a title worth playing through till the end.
Game Pass for PC
Make sure to hop onto your Xbox app and play through these titles on PC. If you don’t already own Game Pass for PC, you’re missing out. Xbox Game Pass offers a ton of excellent titles for only $5 a month. You have titles like the highly praised Metro Exodus, roguelike card game Slay the Spire, action RPG The Outer Worlds, and much more! If you’d like more details, you can find those here.
