Starly is a Normal and Flying-Type Pokémon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl that will evolve into Staravia once a particular condition is met. Starly can be found in several zones in the Sinnoh region, including Route 204, Route 203, Route 202, Route 201, Lake Verity, Route 212, and Route 209. While it may not be a Trainer’s first encounter, if they persevere searching through the grass, they will eventually encounter a Wild Starly. Alternatively, players can locate a Level 26 Starly within the Great Marsh using the Walking method. Once a Trainer has caught Starly, they can mature it into Staravia through leveling.
How to Evolve Starly into Staravia in Pokémon BDSP
Pokémon BDSP Trainers can evolve their Starly into Staravia by having it reach Level 14. If the Starly is already at a level higher than 14, then the next time it levels up will be when it evolves into Staravia. To have any Pokémon level up quickly, players can feed it a Rare Candy.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl: How to Evolve Ralts
After Starly evolves into Staravia in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, players can further develop it into a Staraptor, the Pokémon’s final evolution. This transition will take place once Staravia has attained Level 34. To quicken the leveling process, players can have their Pokémon rematch high-level Trainers such as Gym Leaders or battle Wild Pokémon within the Hideaways.
Another way to boost XP gain is by giving Starly or Staravia a Lucky Egg, an item that will increase the experience reward from battles by ×1.5. Lucky Eggs can be purchased from the Battle Tower for 77 BP or obtained from the Jubilife TV Lottery. They can also be found throughout the world, like in Acuity Lakefront within the Grand Underground. Any of these methods will undoubtedly be beneficial in helping Starly or Staravia evolve in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.
