With the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players are once again getting a chance to jump back into the region of Sinnoh and attempt to “catch ’em all.” One of the Pokémon you could bring on board is Bronzong. Once you do get your hands on them, that is only half the battle with the other half being the battles themselves. When you get into a Pokémon battle, it is important to know the weaknesses of your Pokémon, and it is no different with Bronzong. I can clear up how these stats work and which ones you need to pay attention to. This guide will break down what Bronzong’s Weaknesses are in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Bronzong’s Weaknesses in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Bronzong is a Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon, thus making it weak to four different types. Those types are Ground, Ghost, Dark, and Fire. Luckily, there are no weaknesses that do four times the damage to Bronzong. These weaknesses come out to do two times the regular damage against Bronzong. It is important to note that Bronzong has two special abilities which are called Levitate and Heatproof, which will negate the weaknesses of Ground and Fire-type moves respectively.
While it is good to know Bronzong ‘s weaknesses to ensure he avoids those situations, it is just as important to also find Bronzong’s strengths. one of those strengths is that Bronzong is immune to Poison Attacks. The Aura Pokémon is also strong against its own types of Steel and Psychic as well as Normal, Grass, Ice, Dragon, Fairy, Flying, and Rock types. Psychic-type attacks will only do one-fourth of the regular damage output while the other eight types listed in that list will do half damage against Bronzong. This makes it very important that you know to use it against these types of Pokémon so that you know how to use Bronzong’s strengths and avoid his weaknesses.
Both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are available now on the Nintendo Switch.
