With the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players are once again getting a chance to jump back into the region of Sinnoh and attempt to “catch ’em all.” One of the Pokémon you could bring on board is Lopunny. Once you do get your hands on them, that is only half the battle with the other half being the encounters. When you get into a Pokémon battle, it is important to understand your Pokémon’s weaknesses, as is the case with Lopunny. Thankfully, I can help you figure just that out! This guide will break down what Lopunny’s Weakness in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Lopunny’s Weakness in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Lopunny is a Normal-type Pokémon, thus making it not very susceptible to weaknesses with the rabbit Pokémon being weak to only one different type of damage. This type is Fighting. Luckily, there are no weaknesses that do four times the damage to Lopunny. This Fighting-type weakness comes out to do two times the regular damage against Lopunny.

Just as Lopunny isn’t weak to multiple attacks, the Pokémon is also strong against only one type of attack. It isn’t even strength against the attack type, rather it is immunity. The type that Lopunny is immune to is Ghost-type attacks. While it isn’t as important as some other Pokémon who have a number of different weaknesses and strengths, it is still very much important that you know to use it against these types of Pokémon so that players know how to avoid Lopunny’s weakness while also being able to use their strength to their advantage. With that, you should have a much easier time knowing not just when Lopunny is best to pull out, but how to deal with her as well.
Both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are available now on the Nintendo Switch.
