With the recent release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players are getting a chance to jump back into the region of Sinnoh and are once again trying to “catch ’em all.” Once you do get your hands on these Pokémon, that is only half the battle with the other half being… well, the battles themselves. When you get into a Pokémon battle, it is important to know the weaknesses of your Pokémon. One of these Pokémon that you will need to know these stats for is Sudowoodo. Luckily, I can clear up how these stats work and which ones you need to pay attention to. This guide will tell you what are Sudowoodo’s Weakness in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Sudowoodo’s Weakness in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Despite looking like a tree and having the word “wood” in its name, Sudowoodo is a Rock type Pokémon, thus making it weak to five different types. Those types are Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, and Grass types. These five different weaknesses will do two times the regular damage to Sudowoodo. Luckily, since Sudowoodo is only a Rock type, he doesn’t see compounding weaknesses from multiple types, such as Heracross who is both a Bug and Fighting types and therefore takes on the weaknesses of both types and making it very weak to Flying types.

Knowing this means that we can also find Sudowoodo’s strengths. While it isn’t immune to any type of attack, it is strong against Flying, Normal, Poison, and Fire types. These types will do half damage against Sudowoodo, so it is important that you know to use it against these types of Pokémon.
Both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are available now on the Nintendo Switch.
