Spotlight Hours are time-limited events in Pokémon GO during which a particular Pokémon appears significantly more often for an hour, and this year’s month of July offers a colorful roster of unique pocket monsters. Furthermore, these events are an opportunity for Trainers to potentially discover and catch the Shiny version of the featured Pokémon. Typically, Shiny Pokémon are extremely rare to find, but Spotlight Hours offer a chance for anyone to get a Shiny. Spotlight Hours in Pokémon GO occur every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, and while the first event for July 2022 has already passed, there are three more Pokémon for Trainers to anticipate.
