So, which team should you choose for the Elemental Cup? In this post, we’ll give our opinion on the best team to use in the Elemental Cup. Stay tuned!
What is the Element Cup in Pokemon Go?
The Element Cup is a new competition that has been added to Pokemon Go. In this cup, players must use teams of Pokemon that represent the four elements: water, fire, and grass. The goal of the cup is to battle other players using these teams and see who can come out victorious.
The Pokemon Go Element Cup is a simplified PvP environment that allows just Fire, Water, and Grass types to participate. There is a maximum of 500 competition points (CP) and the requirement that competing monsters must be in their primary form of an evolutionary family, among other things. This eliminates the majority of the current Pokemon, but the pool of contestants for this competition cannot be described as shallow.
There isn’t much new in this tournament’s format compared to past years. – Salandit is still at the top of the food chain, posing with his sinister grin while surveying his territory.

Which team should you choose for the Elemental Cup in Pokemon Go?
A few things to consider when choosing a team for the Elemental Cup in Pokemon Go. The first is the type of Pokemon you will be using. You’ll want to ensure that your team has a good mix of water, fire, and grass-type Pokemon. The second thing to consider is the moveset of your Pokemon. You’ll want to ensure that your Pokemon knows effective moves against the other elemental types. With that said, here is our opinion on the best Pokemon to use in the Elemental Cup.
Salandit
Pokemon Go‘s Element Cup is upon us, and if you’re looking to get an edge on the competition, you’ll need to find the best counter-attacking Pokemon. And while there are a lot of great choices out there, one Pokemon you may not have considered is Salandit.
Salandit may be challenging to obtain, as it can only be hatched from 12km Eggs, but it’s definitely worth the effort. With Poison Jab as a Fast Move and Poison Fang as a Charged Move, Salandit is a force to be reckoned with. Additionally, Flamethrower gives you the extra coverage you need against Bug, Ice, and Steel-type opponents.
Ducklett
Ducklett was the center of attention in the Element Cup last year, and it has even more promise this time around. Because it’s a Water/Flying-type, it can destroy both Fire and Grass opponents while having few vulnerabilities.
Ducklett is a Pokemon you’ll want to watch mainly because of Chinchou, Shellos, and the just-released Salandit. However, if you have Bubble Beam and Brave Bird in your move pools, any other opposing Pokemon should be no match for you.
Gastly
If you’re looking for a Ghost-type Pokemon to use in the Element Cup, look no further than Gastly. Gastly is an excellent choice because it can take down both Fire and Grass opponents with ease.
Gastly is especially effective against Grass-type Pokemon, as they are susceptible to its Ghost and Dark-type moves. Additionally, Gastly’s Levitate ability makes it immune to Ground-type actions, which gives it an extra advantage over its opponents.
These are just a few of the best choices for the Element Cup. Check out our other posts for more tips and strategies to make the most of your time in Pokemon Go.
