The Ice Stone is an evolution item in Pokémon Legends: Arceus used to evolve Eevee into Glaceon and Alolan Vulpix into Alolan Ninetales. Trainers can obtain Eevee reasonably early on in the game within Horseshoe Plains, the north region of the Obsidian Fieldlands. On the other hand, Alolan Vulpix is extremely rare, as it doesn’t appear in the wild like other Pokémon. Instead, the only way to acquire Alolan Vulpix is by completing late-game Request 83: “Snow-White Vulpix in the Snow.” After procuring two Ice Stones, players can then evolve both of these Pokémon into their stronger forms.
Obtaining the Ice Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
The most surefire way of getting an Ice Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is by fulfilling Request 86: “Gone Astray…in the Icelands.” This quest will only unlock once players have progressed through the main story mission, “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra,” and completed Request 77: “Gone Astray in the Fieldlands.”

To complete “Gone Astray…in the Icelands,” players must save a Jubilife villager named Zeke from Alpha Glalie in the Alabaster Icelands. Once Zeke has been rescued, Trainers will receive an Ice Stone, Peat Block, and several Star Pieces. The Peat Block is an evolution item for evolving Ursaring into Ursaluna, and Star Pieces are valuables that can be sold for a lucrative ₽5,000 in Jubilife Village.
Another way to get an Ice Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is by finding one randomly from a shaking ore or within a Space-Time Distortion Zone. Ginter may also offer an Ice Stone for ₽5,000. Merit Points can be earned by finding Lost Satchels across the regions of Hisui.
