Though many Pokémon fans enjoy playing previous games, the excitement of an upcoming release is too intense to put out. It leaves them wondering just what time Pokémon Legends: Arceus will unlock so they can finally play this new game.

What Time Does Pokémon Legends: Arceus Unlock?

This new Pokémon game release is a refreshing release for the franchise, and there are plenty of Pokémon to catch. In fact, there are more than 180, and there are even new ones and new forms like different evolutionary forms.

If you weren’t among the players who took advantage of the early leak of the new game, you’re probably waiting for Pokémon Legends: Arceus to unlock. Well, you won’t have to wait long. The official release of the game is January 28, 2022. It will unlock at midnight local time no matter where you are in the world.

So this means that players will dive into the game at different times throughout the globe. Watch your local timezone if you want to get into the game as soon as possible.

At launch, if you pre-ordered the game, you can enjoy a variety of offers depending on where you purchased a physical edition. If you opted to buy the game from the Nintendo eShop instead, then you’ll get 30 Heavy Balls when you jump into the game.

Besides those, you can also unlock some cool Mystery Gifts on launch. From the “Mystery Gift” menu, select the “Get via Internet” option to unlock the Baneful Fox Mask and the Hisuian Growlithe Kimono Set. This is only available until May 9, 2022.

Previous Game Bonuses for Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Like with other Pokémon games, you can get bonuses for loading a save file into Pokémon Legends: Arceus upon the game’s release.

If you load a save from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, you can add the mythical Dark-type Darkrai to your roster and unlock Modern Team Galactic Outfits.

With a save from Pokémon Sword and Shield, you have may get the mythical Shaymin (Land Forme) and unlock the Shaymin Kinomo Set.

Lastly, for those with a save from Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Eevee!, you can unlock some cool Pikachu and Eevee masks.
