Hearty Grains are a crafting ingredient in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that Trainers can use to complete certain quests and make various food recipes. More specifically, players will need Hearty Grains ×3 for both Request 23, “Getting Ahold of New Wares,” and Request 48, “The Taste of Home.” Hearty Grains is also used to craft the Jubilife Muffin, Grain Cake, and Choice Dumpling. The Jubilife Muffin can come particularly handy as it is able to cure any status conditions a Pokémon may have. Trainers can obtain the recipe for the Jubilife Muffin once they’ve completed “The Taste of Home.”
Hearty Grains Locations in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
There are several ways to get Hearty Grains in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The easiest way is by purchasing them from the Craftworks or General Store in Jubilife Village for ₽200 if they are in stock. Another location where Hearty Grains can be found is the Crimson Mirelands, specifically in Golden Lowlands. Haystacks throughout Crimson Mirelands also can drop Hearty Grains.

The Golden Lowlands should have several Hearty Grains growing about the area. Trainers should be on the lookout for short, plump wheat-like stalks when searching for the resource’s harvesting nodes. On the other hand, the haystacks have a 20% chance of dropping Hearty Grains when destroyed by the player’s Pokémon. While it’s not a reliable means of getting Hearty Grains, the haystacks can potentially provide other useful ingredients such as Caster Fern or Medicinal Leek.
The following Pokémon have a 35% chance to drop Hearty Grains when being caught: Budew, Roselia, Roserade, Yanma, and Yanmega. These Pokémon can be found within the Crimson Mirelands, the same location where players will likely find Hearty Grains nodes in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
