For Pokémon fans who want to be the very best like no one ever was, they need some sweet tunes while adventuring. Thankfully, Game Freak is a wonderful company and released the full soundtrack to Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee! on iTunes. Now trainers can listen to the tracks wherever they are or while capturing the pocket monsters in Pokémon Go.
The Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee! Super Music Collection, as it is being called on iTunes, is available for $9.99 and contains more than 120 tracks from the newly released Nintendo Switch games. Many of the songs featured in the extensive bundle are brand new to the world of Pokémon games, but there are a few familiar ones to fans of the series. Tracks featured in past games experienced an upgrade and were reworked to fit a more modern style of play. Many of the original songs from 1998s Pokémon Yellow are included as well.
Back in the year 2013, Game Freak decided to release music from the several of the popular Pokémon games on iTunes. Over the years since, the developer slowly put out nine total soundtracks on the website, starting with music from the 2013 games, Pokémon X & Pokémon Y. The most recent soundtrack they released on the site features songs from the 2016 addition of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. Fans can get eight out of the nine for $9.99 but strangely enough, Pokémon Fire Red & Pokémon Leaf Green are $11.99.
Fans will also find music from several of the Pokémon movies and even a live recording of a symphonic orchestra performing tracks from the classic Game Boy games.
