As with every other leak or rumor, we ask that anyone takes them with a grain of salt. When it comes to Pokémon leakers, there are a lot out there. Some were able to leak the whole Pokédex before its release. However, a trusted leaker in the Pokémon community now has some information about the potential Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. This leaker suggests that a beloved feature might come back to the game in the future. Yet, even when they shared it, it is still very mysterious. Said feature could mean Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mega Evolutions happening in the future.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC could include Mega Evolutions
As we mentioned in the beginning, take everything with a grain of salt. There are a lot of companies that have leaks every day, like Hoyoverse with Genshin Impact, and they turn out to be true. On the other hand, Nintendo is a bit more careful with that. But it doesn’t mean it can’t happen. We all saw stuff about the starter evolutions and several new Pokémon. Now, the leaker claims that the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC could bring Mega Evolutions back. And the reasoning behind that is not too crazy.

For those who’ve played the last generations, you might know that some of the new gimmicks are exclusive to the region. In Sword and Shield, the gimmick happened due to the legendary Pokémon. In this region, it happens due to the place itself. Now, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Mega Evolutions could happen because, in the past, they occurred in two regions. Kanto and Hoenn. So, if this gimmick makes its way to the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, which is not yet confirmed, it could be good and justifiable. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. While we hope we get a DLC, the one thing we need is GameFreak to fix the performance and some bugs. Before launching any new content, we hope the game becomes more playable on the Nintendo Switch.
