Evolve Houndour into Houndoom in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Houndour, a 2nd Generation Pokémon, has a reputation for being quite the bad guy in various Pokémon media. Despite that, many players enjoy the Dark/Fire-type companion. With how bold they are against you, they are great when on your side. What’s even better, though, is Houndoom.
So, how do you evolve Houndour into Houndoom in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? Well, it’s simpler than evolving some other Pokémon that require a special item.
To evolve Houndour, you simply need to level them up to Level 24.
And that’s it! There is nothing extra needed. If you happen to come across a wild Houndour that is already at this level, then all you need to do is level them one more time to evolve them into Houndoom.

Before you can evolve Houndour into Houndoom in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must catch one. Well, you encounter a pack of Houndours at the beginning of the game. The best way to catch one then is to head back to Paco Path. You can find Houndours inside the cave. Houndours typically hang around caves. So, you can also search South Province (Area Four) to find more.
