The official site for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has revealed its first Tera Raid Battles, which will feature Eevee and Charizard. These events will take place shortly after the launch of the new generation on November 18. Eevee’s event will take place between November 24 and 27. Afterward, Charizard will have two different time frames to catch it in December.
First Tera Raid Battles
The first event for the Tera Raid Battles will feature Eevee. Between November 24 and 27, Eevees with various Tera Types will appear more frequently in Tera Raid Battles. This will be a perfect chance to get an Eevee with the Tera Type you want.
The Tera Raid Battle happening in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is all about Charizard. It will be available both between December 1 and December 4 and between December 15 and December 18. This special Charizard will have the Dragon Tera Type, and only one can be caught per save data.
Charizard will be the first Tera Raid Battle found within the newly announced black Tera Raid crystals. Pokémon found in these crystals are much more powerful than regular Tera Raid Crystals but grant better rewards. As these are much tougher battles, they will not be unlocked until you complete certain postgame events. However, if you haven’t done this yet, you can still participate by joining another Trainer’s Tera Raid Battle.
While this does confirm that Charizard will be part of the newest Pokémon generation, the news post also states that it cannot normally be encountered in Paldea. That means that you will have to get one through other means, such as the upcoming Tera Raid Battle.
