In the past years, Pokemon has tried many new things with its video game franchise. Sword and Shield implemented some new mechanics and had an open-world area. Legends: Arceus had an even bigger open world and a new catching mechanic. Now, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet went full open world and things were not as good as people expected. While the game is fun and many trainers are still tackling some Tera Raids, the latest generation still has many problems. However, it seems that Nintendo is paying attention, and it’ll release Update 1.2 for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet next month.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Update 1.2 is set for late February
The wait might be a bit long but at least there is now confirmation that Nintendo is working on fixing the game. While it isn’t completely bad, some players have had bad experiences. Glitches, performance issues, and crashes are things that plague the games so far. One thing that gives us hope is that the 1.2 update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is in the works. While Nintendo usually doesn’t update its games that often, it is nice to see they are listening to player feedback.

While it isn’t the best generation out there, it still did great commercially speaking. It sold a lot of copies in many parts of the world and that’s another reason for The Pokémon Company to update its titles. Right now we only know that the update will focus on bug fixes and added functionality. We still don’t know what Nintendo is referring to so we’ll have to wait. Still, we are happy to get at least a few updates to help the games improve. So, keep an eye out for whenever the 1.2 update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launches in February. And, if you haven’t, make sure to tackle the new 7-star Tera Raids that are in the game right now.
