The God of War Ragnarok release date is one of the biggest unknowns, but the truth is that it seems close to being revealed. Everything points to a PlayStation announcement based on the adventures of Kratos and Atreus this month. According to an insider source, the GoW Ragnarok release date seems to be getting closer to being known.
Why is June 30th important for the God of War Ragnarok Release Date?
It was previously rumored that God of War Ragnarok was delayed to 2023, although journalist Jason Schreier revealed that the title was planned for November 2022. Schreier remarked that Ragnarok’s development was “turbulent” and that the game might likely slide again.
The leaker posted a clue to the next reveal on his Twitter profile: a funny gif of Kratos with the number “11110” in sequence. And this figure corresponds to the number “30” in binary code. Does this mean that on June 30th, we will see or know something new about God of War Ragnarok, perhaps with a dedicated State of Play?
It looks like we have our date for some God of War announcements.

It’s nothing official and a rumor to speculate on, but the info comes from Insider_WTF and is verified by game journalist Tom Henderson. Unfortunately, we still don’t know when the new God of War will make its debut.
According to recent allegations, the game was delayed to 2023. However, three Bloomberg sources claimed that God of War Ragnarok would be released this year. Also, according to Jason Schreier, Sony is expected to announce a release date for God of War in June, but it’s unknown whether or not PlayStation will hold a Ragnarok State of Play on June 30th. However, we advise you to take this information with a pinch of salt, as plans can permanently be altered behind the scenes.
