Pre-registrations for Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos are now open, Ubisoft announced today.
Players who pre-register will receive the exclusive hero skin ‘Pirate Catherine’ as well as a Legendary Pack when the game launches. The free-to-play title will bring the iconic heroes and units from the franchise back to life, all recreated in a new art style.
In case you are not familiar with Might & Magic Heroes, the game is a fantasy tactical RPG focusing on the placement of troops that, once engaged, automatically follow their behaviors.
Of course, as in most RPGs on mobile devices today, players will be able to use strategically summoned heroes to turn the tide of battle, who will become available as the game progresses. Era of Chaos’ main campaign will follow the original storyline of Heroes of Might & Magic III, taking players to the back to the land of Erathia.
King Roland Ironfist of Enroth has mysteriously disappeared, and his wife, Queen Catherine, is left to rule alone. On top of that, her father, King Gryphonheart of Erathia, is also assassinated, throwing the kingdom into chaos dominated by the dark forces.
Will Catherine manage to bring peace and order back into the kingdom?
According to Ubisoft, however, the main campaign is just one of nine different game modes where players will be able to test their skills in Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos. Other single-player modes will include various Special Modes and Underground additional levels.
On the other hand, multiplayer and guild modes will see players working together and battling with each other around the globe.
While there’s no official launch date yet, Ubisoft said the game will be out on Android and iOS devices before the end of the year. Ready to pre-order it? Here is a link to the official website.
