There will be a Season 2 for the series Harlem. Tracy Oliver created the Amazon Prime Video series, wrote for it, and executive produced it. Amy Poehler and Kim Lessing for Paper Kite Dave Becky for 3 Arts Entertainment are executive producers for the series. Britt Matt, Pharrell Williams, and Mimi Valdés for I Am Other also executive produce the Amazon Prime Video series. Harlem revolves around four career women as they help each other navigate their professional and romantic lives. The friends encounter many missteps and misadventures in their daily lives, and there shall be more for Season 2 of Harlem. The four friends are played by Meagan Good, Jerrie Johnson, Grace Byers, and Shoniqua Shandai. Fans have liked the series for showing a mainly black cast and LGBT+ storylines. Meagan Good and the rest of the cast will return for Season 2.

Jerrie Johnson plays Tye, a queer dating app creator. Meagan Good plays Camille, a successful anthropology professor at Columbia University, in the Amazon Prime Video series. Grace Byers plays Quinn, a trust-fund fashion designer. Shoniqua Shandai plays Angie, an actor, and singer. They all have love life struggles, Angie has more financial troubles than anything. There hasn’t been a popular series with black women friendship since Girlfriends, which ended back in 2008. Season 2 of Harlem will expand on their lives and friendship. They all have lackluster love lives that often add to the comedy of the series. Tracy Oliver, who co-wroteĀ Girl’s Trip, created an entire series around friendship. Harlem Season 2 may bring more successful romantic relationships or more friends to the group. There is no official date for the premiere of Season 2 of the Amazon Prime Video series.
