If you’ve touched the internet at any point in time during 2020, you’ve likely heard a thing or two about Among Us. It may have released in 2018, but it saw massive interest thanks to streamers and the pandemic last year. Its murder mystery style gameplay is incredibly enjoyable, one only replicated by few games out there. One such game is Project Winter, a PvPvE game that’s been available on PC for quite some time now. Soon enough though, that won’t be the only platform to enjoy it with your friends on. Announced today, Project Winter is treading its way onto not only Xbox consoles, but Xbox Game Pass as well! If you’d like a better look at what the game has to offer, check the fresh trailer below.
Project Winter is a social deception game where you must survive a wintery tundra in order to escape its harsh cold. The odds may be stacked against you, but that’s just the start of your problems. Two members of your group must sabotage your team and escape undetected. Will you manage to escape the frozen wasteland, or will you be left behind? If you’re sold, Project Winter is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console starting on January 26, so you don’t have too long to wait.
Developer Other Ocean’s Product Director, Ryan Hale, had this to say on the announcement:
We are excited that Project Winter will launch with crossplay so that Xbox and Windows 10 players will be able to join the community of over one million survivors who’ve been uncovering traitors, backstabbing their teammates, and battling the elements since the game’s launch.”
